about me
I'm a 41-year-old author from Buffalo, NY. Until September 2022, I lived in Bremerhaven, Germany for 11 years and worked as a teacher and Zumba Fitness instructor.
I write for Huffington Post, Insider, Elephant Journal, Buffalo Rising and Buffalo Spree. I am the recipient of first place award for creative non-fiction in the Olive Woolley Burt Award given by League of Utah Writers, two-time finalist in the Women on Writing Creative Non-Fiction Writing Contest and a top ten finalist in their flash fiction contest.
In my spare time, I am at the gym, reading everything I can, gardening or working on my novel The Language of Forgiveness.
